Double En-Suite Furnished Room

My flatmate has handed in her notice and will be moving out at the end of March (29th March 2026), so I’m looking for someone to take her place.

The flat is a refurbished tenement in Dennistoun. Current rent is £600/month, but when the tenancy switches it is expected to increase by around £25. For that reason the advertised rent is £625/month, although it could be slightly higher if the landlord increases it by more than expected.

Bills vary depending on the season and usage (gas and electricity), but at the moment the total comes to around £800/month including all bills.

The room available is the en-suite bedroom. Photos are from the original listing and include the shared spaces and the available room. The only change since then is that the bed in the ensuite room has been replaced.

I would prefer to share with women or non-binary people only.

A bit about me

I’m a working professional currently employed as an engineer for an environmental consultancy. I mainly work from home, with the occasional day in the office.

I’m clean, tidy and respectful of shared spaces, and I like to keep the flat fairly calm and relaxed. I enjoy socialising and occasionally having friends over, but I prefer to keep the flat fairly relaxed and would appreciate a heads-up if anyone is planning to host something louder or larger.

I’m generally a morning person and try to prioritise going to the gym before work. In terms of hobbies I enjoy cooking, baking (especially for others!), and reading and writing.

Ideally I’d like to live with someone who is considerate, communicative and respectful of shared spaces. It would be nice to occasionally chat or hang out, but equally I’m happy if someone prefers a more independent living situation.
