Hi there! I’m looking to fill a room in a flat I’m currently renting, as my current flatmate is moving to Australia with her boyfriend.
The flat is located just off Alexandra Parade, and is a 10 minute walk to the train station and 5 minute walk to various bus stops - so very convenient if you commute! There’s also secure parking available (behind a barrier) if you own a car.
The flat itself is two bedroom, two bathroom. The room advertised has a double bed, built in wardrobe, two bedside lockers, and a chest of drawers. You will have your own bathroom, but it’s not an en-suite. The bathroom has a toilet, sink, large mirror, and a bath with an overhead shower.
In general, the flat pretty much has all the essential amenities- washing machine, iron, TV, ironing board, hoover etc!
With regards to the monthly bills, this would be a rough breakdown:
Rent - £497.50 each
Council tax - £100 each
WiFi - £22.50
Electric - around £50/£60 (depends on season)
Monthly estimate - £680 (again, this can fluctuate dependent on electric)
A little bit about me: I’m a primary school teacher so I’m gone from the flat for most of the day during the week. I’m a clean and tidy person, who likes to cook, have movie nights and spend some time with my flat mate in the evenings. I enjoy going on nights out too, but also enjoy night in and some alone time.
I’m Irish, so I go home to Ireland for my summer holidays and from time-to-time throughout the year. I don’t smoke and don’t have any pets.
