Description
* A short term stay available until the 21st May. Please include a bit about yourself - why you are in Glasgow, hobbies etc
A classic Glasgow tenement with big rooms and wooden floors, designed by the architect Greek Thomson. It is well situated in between the City Centre, West end and Southside and the airport. The SECC, Hydro, Science Centre and BBC are five minutes walk away. There is an underground station 1 minute walk from the from the front door, the motorway is 2 minutes away by car and there is free parking right outside the flat.
You'd be sharing with myself (43 - musical instrument maker) and Anais (26, French/English Grower and baker ).
The flat is warm, homely and clean and tidy. There's a wood burning stove in the living room. It's a top-floor flat, but there is access to a large shared garden behind the crescent.
It's a 3-4 person flat with shared kitchen and living areas.
Occasionally we try and make the effort to cook/eat together (taking account of veggie/vegan gf etc) although there's no pressure to do so.
The neighbourhood is pretty relaxed with residents from a multitude of ethnic backgrounds. Local shops reflect this. There a few good places to eat out, most notably a Lebanese cafe/restaurant, but the area is not renowned for its eateries. The pubs tend to be of the 'real' Glasgow kind rather than trendy and can be a cultural experience in themselves.
Council tax/bills/internet included
