There are also three local parks and a couple of bars within walking distance.
Burnside train station is right across the road, and there are bus stops on the doorstep. Trains run through the South Side – with Shawlands just 10 minutes away – and reach Glasgow Central in 18 minutes. Buses run every 10-15 min and take about 15-20 min to the city centre and East Kilbride. For drivers, the M74 motorway is easily accessible, and the commute to Glasgow is around 15 minutes.
