Room in a 2-bed near Queen's Park.

Hey there!

I am looking to rent a room out in a 2 bedroom flat just off Victoria Road for short term lets. Any prospective tenant will need to be able to provide information for a tenancy application such as references and proof of income. (Sorry get the boring things out of the way!)

Anyway, onto the exciting part:
The flat is a cosy and recently renovated. As you can see, the communal space is a large kitchen where a sofa will be added in the next couple of weeks :D I've just moved in myself so looking for someone who also wants to add their own touch!

It's just off Victoria Road so is so close to all the bars off Pollockshields Rd, as well as a 10 minute walk to Shawlands. Getting into town is so easy, with numerous basses passing the flat, and then Queen's Park train station just around the corner. Door to door, it takes around 30 minutes to get to the West End :) 5 minutes walk away in one direction from a big Lidl supermarket which is always a plus.

About me: I am a 26 year old currently undertaking teacher training at Strathclyde! I'll be in school Monday - Friday, and sometimes work in a bar at the weekends. I am a very laidback flatmate so I like to spend my time off generally just relaxing etc etc. I'm a really social person so always happy to meet new people.

I'm ideally looking for someone of a similar age who's looking for a flat they can make into a home. Someone clean and tidy but not too picky would of course be ideal!
