Double room available in the heart of Mount Florida in Glasgow’s Southside.

About me:
I’m Meg and I’m looking for a young professional to join me (will consider students too). I’m a teacher and so I don’t live a particularly wild life mid week. There currently aren’t many jobs in my subject, so I’m working hospitality in the meantime. When I’m not working, you’ll find me socialising, listening to music or doing/watching sports. I have a nosey 9 month old Bichon Frise called Georgie, so you’ll have to be dog friendly! Hoping to find someone who is clean and tidy after having an insanely unclean previous flatmate. I’ll not lose sleep over a few plates and cups though, don’t worry. I’d like to live with someone that I can have a cuppa (or a glass of wine) with here and there - can totally respect your space too. Must be a LGBT+ friendly person/ally.

About the area:
The flat is surrounded by class little cafes and shops that are all within walking distance. There’s a 24h shop (2 mins), Tesco Express/Greggs/Chippy (3 mins) and big Asda (10 mins) to name a few.
The flat is essentially on the door step for Mount Florida rail station (3 mins) - from here it’s an 11 min ride to Glasgow Central.
Another bonus is that Queens Park is only 10/15 mins away, as is Battlefield where you’ll find even more nice cafes/bars.

About the flat:
The room available has:
Kingsize bed
Chest of drawers
2 x bedside units
3 door wardrobe with full length mirror
a little Google home speaker thing if you want it

The kitchen is pretty well equipped. There’s a dining table/chairs, oven with a gas hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, Ninja food processor, Ninja air fryer, slow cooker, coffee machine and pretty much every utensil you could think of. Plates, cutlery, glassware, pots/pans and all that stuff is all here too to be used so long as it’s well looked after.

The bathroom has a bath with an electric shower and a loo and a sink too of course lol.

There’s a back court and the front porch is mine also.
