Description
A double room is up for grabs in our sunny and modern flat situated right at the heart of the West end (Dumbarton Road) - The location is quite ideal, with the Kelvinhall and Partick subway stations only a few mins walking distance, a Tesco and Celino's right next door as well as the Farmer's Market on the opposite side of the road. There are also bus stops right outside the flat, for bus lines 77, 2, 3 and 8.
The room available is quite spacious (the biggest one in the flat) with a double bed and built in wardrobe. The flat comes with one shared bathroom, living room and kitchen. There is also an additional upstairs living room with access to a balcony. There is wooden flooring across the flat, gas heating, dishwasher and washing machine. The apartment building is very clean and our neighbours reasonable and nice. The rent is 600 per month with extra council tax, wifi and gas/electricity (160-200 pounds extra). Although pricey, I have lived in this flat for almost 3 years now and can safely say that it is definitely worth its price. The landlord is also very nice and laid back, easily contactable and very helpful in fixing issues with the flat as quickly as possible. No references are required, only a deposit of 600 pounds,
A bit about me: I am a 30 years old female professional originally from Greece, working as an embryologist at Glasgow Royal Infirmary. I am a non-smoker and have no pets, but more than happy for a furry flatmate to join us as well. I am extremely quiet myself, responsible and like to keep the flat as clean as possible. I would say that I am not particularly OCD with tidiness or cleanliness but always want to be respectful and reasonable when sharing a flat with others. I work full time and also weekends once per month, so it is important for me to come back home to a calm space where I can relax and get a good night's sleep for next day's work. In my free time, I like spending time with friends, surfing the internet or Netflix and enjoying a nice cup of greek coffee! Having lived in flatshares before, I think the perfect flatmate for me would be a working professional like myself whose party days are over :P and who also prefers a quiet and clean space. I do not mind flatmates who like to keep to themselves or spend most of the time in their rooms, neither flatmates who are a bit more social and present in the flat. I understand that with the gas and electricity bills rising, the flat is a bit pricey so please only message me if it is within your budget!
If you feel you would be a good fit for the flat, feel free to message me for more questions and a viewing! :)
