Because it's my flat I clean the communal areas, hoover and mop hall, living room, kitchen, bathroom, stairwell, porch etc. I just ask lodgers to keep their own room clean and clean up after themselves e. g. their own washing up, wipe surfaces after they used kitchen, open bathroom window after bath or shower etc.
