Bright and comfortable double room available now (from 1st October) in a traditional Victorian building, in a warm, friendly and quiet home. The room and the rest of the house are fully furnished, so you can move in without any hassle.

You'd be sharing with me (I'm the landlady, an architect who works from home) and Ira, who's from Ukraine and has lived here for the last 3 years. We also have a friendly cat, Holly. It's a calm, welcoming household — perfect if you're a tidy, easy-going person who values a peaceful living space and respects others' privacy.

Surrounded by green space too, with Queen's Park and Pollock Park close by, plus several smaller parks nearby — great if you enjoy walks, running or just some fresh air on your doorstep. The area also has lots of little cafés, pubs and bars nearby, perfect for a relaxed evening out.

Great location for getting around: 5 minutes' walk to Pollokshields West and 7 minutes to Pollokshields East train stations, 11 minutes' walk to Shields Road subway station, and a bus stop just 3 blocks from the flat. Everything you need — shops, cafés, transport — is close by.
