Looking for a professional/student to rent my spare room for the short term or long term.

Looking for a friendly, clean and considerate flatmate to rent out a spacious double bedroom in Pollokshields for the short or long term. The room is part of a two bedroom traditional tenement flat, where you’ll be sharing the communal areas with the live-in landlord - that's me!

Perfect for a friendly professional or student who is tidy, independent, easy-going and, to be honest, a little fun! Bonus points for owning a jumper to save a few £s on the heating!

I am an easy-going ski/snowboard instructor who has come back to Scotland to retrain as a Physio. I lived abroad for a number of years in Canada, New Zealand and Japan living in wee ski towns. Between working, studying and other activities, I am usually relatively busy. However, I’m always up for a catch up even after a big day! The aforementioned activities include climbing, watching great/trashy movies, staying fit, going to the pub for a yarn and being in the outdoors.

I have lived with a good few folk now - ranging from a seasonal house-share to 5+ years longer-term lets. I reckon I have a good handle on good house-sharing etiquette and good at communicating.

Transport links are excellent in the area:
One stop on the train to Glasgow Central (4min walk to station)
Subway is 15 min walk - good for access to the West End
Nextbike bike share station (2 min walk)

The flat is fully furnished. There is an additional sofa and a coffee table in the living room (which are not pictured)

Bedroom is bright and spacious and comes furnished with double bed and mattress. The chest of drawers and open wardrobe can remain at your discretion.

Kitchen comes with fridge/freezer, gas oven, gas stoves, dishwasher and washing machine. Equipped with all utensils and crockery.

Bathroom is very large for a tenement flat and compromised of bath and separate shower unit.

Living room is very spacious with 2 couches and TV. Also comes with Netflix, Prime as a bonus!

Reliable Fibre wireless internet throughout the flat (~120mbps download speed)

On-street parking is also available. The area is really quite great - very quiet for 363 days of the year, no noisy neighbours and a very convenient 8 min walk to Strathbungo area.
