Description

***PLEASE READ THE FULL AD BEFORE ENQUIRING: UPDATE: We are looking for someone for a long term let, so unfortunately anything less than 6 months won't be considered.

KEY INFORMATION

Bills (for you):

Wifi: £18. Council tax: £100 (band F)

Total with rent: £490 excluding energy bills, which vary: gas/ electric: usually between £40 - £60pp.

Note: The rent price, council tax and wifi costs reflect that my girlfriend and I are paying a higher percentage for everything excluding energy bills, which are per person :)

Requirements:

Hey!

I'm working as a Support Practitioner for the homeless in the south of Glasgow, so I work a 0900 till 1700. My girlfriend has the same schedule, and working as a trainee lawyer for Asylum and Human Rights.

- Professional preferred for council tax reasons, students welcome if willing to pay noted amount for council tax.

*Some photos are from when I moved in. I can provide more recent photos on request!

Amenities:

It's a well priced flat considering the location and size. It has a large, light, shared living room (with lots of my plants), a nice sized kitchen, 2 bathrooms (one each, and you'll have a bath with an overhead, gas powered shower).

As you can see in the photos, the room is a double, with a mirrored wardrobe. It's a nice cosy room!

Also, there is free private underground parking. I don't have a car here, so if you have a car you can register the numberplate, and there's a lift straight from the car park to the flat.

It's also really quiet, as in I've never heard the neighbours at all! The surrounding area has an industrial feel, and is fairly quiet except from the roads...but there are three subways all less than 10 minutes from the flat, and the city centre isn't far, especially if you cycle.

Transport links/ university:

It's a ~25 min walk to Buchanan Street bus station and Queen Street train station. ~15 min walk to Glasgow Central.

Shops:

I used to shop near St Enoch on my way home from uni. There is also a tesco 10 minutes away, and FoodAsia directly opposite the flat.

About us:

I spend most evenings going to life drawing, bouldering, or out with friends and some chill nights in.

My main preference for a flatmate is that they are respectful with noise at night as we're up at 0630 or 0700 everyday.

I'm also tidy, and this is a big must for anyone moving in (generally washing dishes etc.). As long my flatmate doesn't stop us from getting sleep, our 'preferences' are pretty basic I guess! I'm tidy, very chill and keen for a chat. I'm also vegan, but dietary preferences of my flatmate don't really bother me (though a veggie would be a little bonus).

If you have any other questions, just send me a message! Sorry if I don't respond quickly, it's a crazy busy time right now. Happy searching! :)
