Hello there!
I have a double room available for let in a 2 bedroom flat. The apartment is in Pollokshields and is about 20 minutes walk to St Enoch Square in the city centre.
The building itself has a secure entry door and a lift within it. There’s roadside parking available if you drive, and the area is extremely safe so your car is safe too. There are bus stops just outside the apartment and so many stores for you to shop from around (and within a walking distance from) the apartment.
The Flat: The apartment is a wee 2 bedroom flat with 2 bathrooms so the ideal flatmate will have their own bedroom and bathroom, though not ensuite. It also has an open plan kitchen/living area and because I’m mostly working at home, I’m often in the living area. It has a separate laundry room with a washer/dryer and a slab to do your ironing on. The flat has recently been refurbished, so you’ll find your room and bathroom (and the entire apartment tbh) to be up to standard.
The Room: Your room is a double room with in-built wardrobe. The room is furnished but you can add whatever you want to it. The bathroom is a 3-piece bathroom with a standing shower cubicle. It’s NOT an en-suite room so your bathroom is outside your room but exclusive to you.
The ideal flatmate: I’m looking for a flatmate that is extremely neat. I’d appreciate someone who respects shared areas and isn’t “lazy” to clean. You’d need to pull your weight and your bills have to be paid on time as they’re all direct debits. I’d also appreciate someone who will be able to leave the apartment in the state they met it, including not making messes or drilling holes in the walls, etc. Seeing as the cost of living is now high, I’d like for my new flatmate to be energy conscious. Having guests around isn’t an issue, but just informing me about it beforehand will be appreciated (just so I don’t hit your guest in the head thinking thinking they’ve broken into the flat🥴🥴).
About Me: I’m an easy going lass who likes to mind her business. I’m usually up for a chat (when I’m not busy) and i like to socialise and I’m always up for a good night out. I also am one to respect people’s space so best believe I’d always be friendly with you whilst respecting boundaries.😊😊
This flat is ideal for someone working in the city centre and wants somewhere they can walk to work from. Its close to the city centre and all the hotspots in the southside. There are a couple of gyms around, the crown street retail park, a Lidl, etc. I’d also prefer a professional for council tax reasons (however, students willing to pay CT can enquire).
