Address: Merchant Studios, 6 Havannah Street, Glasgow, G4 0AQ. It is very close to High Street (on which there is a large Aldi) and the University of Strathclyde, and is 0.6 miles along one flat road from George Square and Glasgow Queen Street Station.
Rent: £170/week (includes all bills) for student only. Great value due to features below (particularly private kitchen, air-con, the view, and ample common laundry facilities).
Room Description:
- Spacious room
- Bed, underbed storage, wardrobe, armchair
- Study space with a wide desk, a chair, whiteboard, bookshelves/bookcase
- Dining area with a (small) table and two chairs
- Private and self-contained open kitchen: 2 electric stoves, microwave, fridge with ice box (i. e. integrated small freezer compartment), sink, extraction hood
- Private and self-contained bathroom
- Air-conditioned, you can independently control the temperature (and thus the mode - heat/cold). Cool in summer!!
- Excellent view for this particular room*: located on a high floor and thus can see very far (even the line of hills far afield on a clear day). Facing east/ southeast and thus bright in the morning.
