Hi there,
My flatmate and I are looking for a third person for a flatshare in Govanhill, Glasgow. I'm a film editor and he is a UX designer.
Our flat is a third-floor three-bedroom (council tax band C) in G42, near the corner of Allison Street and Victoria Road. It's about a minute away from Queen's Park Station, with bus stops literally around the corner. Victoria Road shops within an eight-minute walk include Tesco, Lidl, Boots, Greggs and Locavore, as well as Queen's Park and a number of cafés and restaurants.
Rent for the full flat is £750. Utilities (including council tax, energy, and broadband) are approximately £340. Rent is split evenly among all three occupants (i. e., £250 per person). Your share of utilities will depend on your consumption, because some flatmates use more energy than others. If you shower once a day, cook six days per week and do five loads of laundry per month, this will correspond to approximately £120 per calendar month (with potential readjustments).
Please see this post for photos of the room that's being vacated. Security deposit is £250.
Minimum stay is 12 months. No pets, no couples, no smoking inside the flat. Students are okay (but we can't help you with council tax discounts or other perks you may be entitled to). This flatshare would be suitable for flatmates 25 years old or older.
If you:
*Keep it quiet at night while your flatmates are trying to sleep
*Reply to e-mails about the flat in a timely manner
*Clean up after yourself and leave shared items/areas/surfaces in the flat as you found them
*Make your payments on time as agreed
