Hello! University of Glasgow student looking for a roommate. Open to any and all. I like to think I'm considerate and easy to get along with. Open to non-students, but please consider council tax implications (Band D).
My family owns the flat and we take it's care and upkeep seriously. This means if something goes wrong, or isn't up to scratch, we will fix it fast and properly.
The property comes furnished, with 2 bedrooms, 1 main bathroom with a bath/shower and 1 ensuite with a shower, a separate kitchen and living room, double glazed windows, free parking and a garage.
Your room is the bedroom pictured and comes with a bed and mattress, a chair, a desk and a built in wardrobe (not pictured for privacy of current tennant but it's about 1.5m x 2.5m x 1m base, height, depth). It is east facing and gets some great light.
The flat is 25 minutes from the uni by bus (numbers 2 & 3) and 20 minutes by bike (I do both regularly). The bus stop for the No. 3 bus is immediately outside as pictured and you can get various student tickets from the app. The next bus stop (2 min walk) is for the 1, 2 and 3 busses. The No. 1 busses can take you direct to the city centre in less than 15 minutes.
We have a gated courtyard/garden area and year round parking. In 2 years, I've never seen it at over 80% capacity, so there's always space.
I have a car and use it to ferry various friends around, in and out of the city for one thing or another. Comes in handy for weekly shopping, and getting about. I'm a cautious driver with a full license.
OVO energy is our electricity and gas provider. We have a fixed tariff that is currently less than any variable rates I've seen. Virgin media is our broadband provider and we are on their cheapest available contract for m125.
I will occasionally have people around at the weekend and the neighbours are very good if you let them know in advance and aren't unreasonably loud.
