Description
Beautiful bright, fully furnished, and recently decorated double room available. The flat has a warm cozy feel with pine floors, plants, and bits and pieces from different travels.
Located on a quiet street in Pollokshields, with lots of lovely cafes, restaurants, pubs, and parks around. Just a three-minute walk to the train station. Parking is on-street.
The flat has double glazing windows, underfloor insulation recently installed, and good gas heating. It is ground floor, the room faces to the back communal garden, the room has a double ottoman storage bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside table and Welsh wool rug. The flat has a small front garden which is perfect for sitting out. There are bike racks in the building and locked basement access for any larger storage needs.
There is a large kitchen with pantry, washing machine, pulley for drying clothes, dishwasher, large fridge/freezer, and breakfast table. Also, there is a large entrance way with standing workspace and storage cupboard. The flat has a lovely living room with extendable dining table, comfy sofas (one sofa bed), TV will all the apps, and a snug cupboard workspace/bar.
You would be sharing the flat with myself, originally from Wales and in my 30s, and my Mozambican rescue dog Niassa. I returned from working overseas recently with Niassa, I currently work from home in international development. We are looking for someone who is a dog lover, who loves pup company and can help take Niassa for a pee and feed her if I am out/away.
We love to go for walkies in the hills, to cook hearty food, pubs, going out for a dance, reading, sunshine, and belly rubs (that’s Niassa). We are looking for someone who would like to make the flat their home, likes a glass of wine and a good chat, and would like to do things together sometimes.
The rent is £470 pcm. Rent including council tax (Band C) and wifi = £570 pcm.
The energy I pay based on consumption as it was the cheapest sustainable option, it varies between £40 and £100 a month depending on use, so the total monthly cost including all bills should always be less than £700.
We are looking for someone to move in as soon as possible.
Please note that some of the decoration in the room photos are from the current flatmate, you are more than welcome to add your own decoration and pictures. We can discuss to see if you have any needs of additional items/furnishings for the room that I can support with.
Please message me if you are interested letting me know a bit about yourself.
Thank you
Colleen and Niassa X
