I'm looking for a flatmate to share a bright, furnished top-floor flat (3rd floor) with me. The place is in a peaceful residential area right next to the Mitchell Library and Kelvingrove Park – it's such a lovely spot!
Details about the flat:
Rent: £620 per month + £65 (council tax) + £12 (internet) + £75 (elec - winter) = £775
Secure door entry
A short walk to both Glasgow and Strathclyde Universities
5-minute walk to Charing Cross Station
Fully furnished (though the room doesn’t have a desk or chair)
Washing machine, dishwasher, and fully fitted kitchen
All-electric
Double-glazed windows
Bath and shower unit
Minimum stay: 1 year preferred
Council Tax: Band D
Move-in date: November 1st
A little about me:
I work for Ofgem and spend most of my time working from home. I’m quite introverted, so while I’m always up for a cosy chat, I do value personal space. I’m really into hiking and aiming to tackle a bunch of Munros this year, so you'll have the flat to yourself most weekends. I also enjoy gardening, building terrariums, playing music, and am a bit of a coffee nerd!
Originally, I’m from India, but I’ve spent most of my 20s living across Europe, so I have a bit of a mixed identity.
What I'm looking for in a flatmate:
You must be a professional with proof of income.
The room is for one person only, no exceptions.
Someone who also respects personal space.
