About the property:

I am subletting a double bedroom on a first floor flat which is approximately 9 square meters (97 sq feet). It comes carpeted, has a double king sized bed with a quality matress along with a large wardrobe, a large set of drawers and a bedside drawer.

You will have your own bathroom equipped with a shower, while the open-plan living room/kitchen will be shared. The property is equipped with a new installation of gas central heating, washing machine and dishwasher. The monthly rent will include 150mbps internet connection while the energy bills will be shared (approximately 70£/person, potentially a lot less depending on our consumption)

It is located within a very quiet and friendly housing complex and local amenities can be reached by foot:
*Lidl and co-op stores - 10 min
*Large Morissons - 20 min
*Forge retail park (B&Q/Aldi/M&S outlet and others) - 30 min

Furthermore, a beautiful large park (Alexandra park) with its train station is only 20 minutes away, while Duke street can offer a variety of European or foreign shops and eateries (10 min away).

It is well connected to the city centre (where you will find central train, subway and bus stations) with a regular 38 bus service close by or a 25 minute walk.

About me: I am originally from Greece, although I have lived in Scotland for the past 6 years and am starting my PhD in psychology and neuroscience at the university of Glasgow. I am friendly, approachable and always up for a chat. I love cooking, anything outdoors (hiking, cycling, wild swimming etc), martial arts and houseplants (currently tending to a few orchids that are slowly taking over my room😅). I do play the cello in my spare time, but that will happen in a respectful manner and within reasonable times:)

I am looking for a flatmate that is happy to have a chat here and there, respects the shared spaces of the flat (the same way I will respect them) and contributes to maintaining the flat in a decent and relatively clean condition. Ideally a student for council tax reasons, unless you are happy to cover the council tax costs (council tax band D).
