Description
Hello,
My current flatmate is moving out so I'm looking for a replacement tenant!
The flat is located in Maryhill, just next to the canal, which means cycling into town is very pleasant. We're two mins walk to the main bus stops on Maryhill road and 10 mins walk to Gilsochill train station. It has two double bedrooms, a full bathroom with bath and shower, a large kitchen and plenty of storage. The living room is lovely, with dual-aspect windows across the canal and city skyline. It is on the second floor, has double glazing and gas heating. Bills tend to be around £40-50pm. I am a student so don't pay council tax, but if you are a professional we can chat about this.
The flat came unfurnished, though we moved across a lot of the furniture from the old flat. The main thing you'd need to source would be a bed, as that is going with the flatmate. This shouldn't be too hard though, and I can help with this if needed.
My flatmate is moving out on the 13th of December, so ideally I am looking for someone to move in around then.
A bit about me:
I am a PhD student at Strathclyde, working in laser engineering. Outside of this I am a keen cook, hiker, cyclist and reader. I'd love a flatmate who shares some of these interests, and someone who is up for chatting on an evening and doing the odd thing together as flatmates whilst also respecting our boundaries. I like to keep the flat clean!
The rent is £825 for the whole flat per month, so £412..5 each. You will be signing a tenancy agreement so may need a reference or a guarantor depending on your income.
The first set of photos is the flat as we moved in, but I'll update them to be more representative of the furnishings we have right now over the weekend.
Thanks for reading.!
