Double bedroom in your new home

Hi there

I am looking for someone to create a home with me. I have recently moved into the flat with some minor renovation and lots of decoration work (the fun part!) ongoing.

About the room/flat
It is a three bedroom apartment, with a large hallway, small galley style kitchen with induction hob and lots of storage), internal window to the shared living room, a small study/reading room (in the making), a shared bathroom, washing machine and dryer, and a communal garden. It is the top (2nd floor) and South-facing so we get lots of great light and warmth when the sun makes an appearance.

Bills are around GBP 100-150 per month consisting of council tax (B), internet, gas and electricity.

Your room is the biggest, South-facing and looking onto Paisley Road West. There is a desk, wardrobe, chest of drawers, built-in-bookcase, double mattress (bedframe will be delivered soon). I can also leave the armchair in there if you like.

I would like to try to rent out the 2nd (green) bedroom for a bit to see how it goes, but in the long-run I would keep it as a joint guest bedroom/ study, occasional Airbnb room.

The flat is at 7 min walking distance from Cessnock Subway station. Supermarket, yoga and 2 climbing halls are within walking distance.

About myself
I am 37, a part-time PhD student in applied development economics and also run my own international consulting company. I'm from Germany originally but have lived in many different countries over the last 15 years. I am social, tidy, and like to cook together (vegetarian) but also respect and understand privacy and the need for alone time. I love yoga, hiking, and reading.

About you
Ideally, you are around my age (+/- 7 years), social, clean and tidy, You can be a student or professional of either gender. Great if you like or have pets, as I am thinking of getting a dog next year.
