I'm in the process of buying a house quite central in Glasgow (likely move in early>mid Feb). I have been considering renting out the other bedroom, so thought I’d pop an advert up to gauge interest and see if someone suitable wanted to enquire. Obviously I can’t conduct viewings etc until it completes, so this is solely to understand interest and get the ball rolling/meet people (and also could potentially tailor bedroom set up/furniture to meet your needs if required).
I would be open to either a full time housemate (£675 + c.£170 bills), or a Mon-Fri basis (or similar) if required for the right person. I care more about the right person than the rent value, so if you think you may be a good fit but this is slightly above budget then please still get in touch.
Please note: the photos here look empty as these are property listing photos from viewing (I will provide full furnishings so will look a lot more homely in real life!).
Bedroom Available (Top Floor): I will provide full furnishing with high quality king size bed (likely Emma mattress unless other preference), bedside tables etc. The room is very large providing more than enough space for a desk (or other) if wanted. The room has built in wardrobes, and a clean/modern en-suite.
General Property: The property is a 3 storey 2 bedroom end terrace. Each bedroom occupies an entire floor hence these are extremely spacious.
The ground floor has an entrance hall/cupboards, toilet, and large open plan kitchen/diner/living space (all shared spaces with myself). There are patio doors into an enclosed garden (which I will highly likely get a hot tub soon after moving in which you'll of course be welcome to use).
Postcode of the property is G51, being easy walking distance of the city centre (c.15m to central). Parking is limited with only 1 space on the drive, however if this is a requirement please let me know and I’m sure we can work something out.
About myself: I have just turned 30 (worryingly unphased), have a 14m old cockapoo (so you may not be best suited if you dislike dogs, but he is lovely), and work in finance...which is just easier to say than explain my actual job. I get on with everyone and am happy to be sociable or enjoy personal space.
Enjoy - running, travel, drinks/meals out with family & friends (+ the occasional weekend Netflix binge when no-one’s watching).
