Sunny Double Room in Peaceful SouthsideFlat

Due to my lovely housemate moving back down south I’m looking for someone to take his room from the 1st June.

It’s a double room that comes unfurnished, the only item to stay is the wardrobe so you will need to have your own bed. The flat gets the sun at the back (my room, kitchen & bathroom) and all the sun floods into your room and the front room from the afternoon into the evening. The bills aren’t too bad; approx £45 for internet, G&E and around £75 for council tax which is band A.
We’re just off Cathcart Road at the end of Allison Street, 5 min walk to the gym, or Crosshill station and number 7 bus goes to town from round the corner; I always walk which takes about 25minutes.

A bit about me; I’m a queer trans artist originally from the north of England, came to Scotland to study completing my masters at GSA in 2022, loved the place so much I decided to stay.
I work in a shop in town and the rest of the time I’m generally beavering away on my practise out of my bedroom; I make music for performance which is generally a quiet activity as it’s all computer based and I mostly use my headphones so you don’t need to worry about noise issues.
I like going to the gym, getting out and about to see my pals and having tinnies in the sun.
I’d probably describe myself as an outgoing introvert, I’m very friendly and love to chat but also need a lot of time in my own company, home for me is a sanctuary where I can recharge without the pressure of having to be on all the time so I’m looking for someone who gets that.
It would be great if you were lgbtq+ like me but it’s not a prerequisite really, the main thing is that you’re sound. I’m a trans guy and these are some hard times we’re going through at the moment so you need to be respectful and understanding of that.
We’d cohabit really well if you’re independent and emotionally intelligent with a good sense of humour and don’t take stuff too seriously. If you want your home place to be peaceful, clean and tidy with no dramas or chaos then maybe this gaff could be the one for you.
