Room for student in newly renovated 2 Bed Flat

Hey!

I’m Iona, I’m a 23 year old Social Anthropology graduate, starting a masters at Strathclyde in September:) I have a 2 bedroom flat in Cleveden Drive (20 min walk to Hillhead subway station, 10 min walk to Hyndland station) and I’m looking for a flatmate!

The flat is currently getting renovated but will be ready for the start of September and will be really nice! It has one bathroom with a bath/shower that has been fully renovated, a brand new kitchen with washer/dryer, a spacious lounge/dining room with lots of lovely windows with gorg views, and the spare bedroom is a good size and has a built in wardrobe:) Rent is £600 + bills (which should be around £40-80) and deposit is one months rent.

I’m looking for someone with similar interests, and really hope to become friends with my flatmate as I’m new to the city and don’t know many people here:) Preferably a student for council tax reasons.

I go to lots of gigs, and love music (I have a hi-fi system set up in my lounge alongside my vinyl collection haha)! I’m artistic, enjoy photography, painting and pottery. I love films, going to the cinema, exploring new places, day trips, hiking, cooking, hosting dinner parties/board game nights, pub quizzes etc!! In general, I consider myself to be sociable (though can still appreciate alone time), creative and kind:)

I’ve included some pics of what the flat currently looks like but as mentioned it is a work in progress, so will be a lot nicer soon! I don’t have many pics of the spare room as it’s currently being used as a storage room as we renovate (so have just included the image from the property listing from when I bought it), but it will have a double bed, and desk in it soon (just haven’t been set up yet). The flat also has a car park with a dedicated parking space and since I don’t have a car, if you have one you’d be free to use it!
