The building is in the centre of a 68 acre public park (first photograph). The full bathroom includes a large jetted tub with a shower attachment and slate flooring. The bedroom/bathroom is virtually in a separate wing of the flat.
The room is provided with a coffee and tea station, a small refrigerator, also a desk/work station and fast broadband. The washer dryer is conveniently located next to the room.
The well equipped kitchen and lounge are shared with the owner.
The flat is convenient to Glasgow city centre and also to Shawlands (Glasgow's 'new West End’). City centre is 15 minutes away from the flat by train.
Recent lodgers have been professionals working in Glasgow on contracts and often away on weekends. This has been a good arrangement which I would like to replicate.
Truly this is a fabulous place to stay! — a unique mix of rural beauty and Scottish heritage close by Glasgow city centre. The king bed is comfortable, the room beautifully furnished and virtually self contained; and the enveloping peace and quiet of the park is simply amazing!
