The Flat - Professionals preferred

Top floor, corner flat with an elevator. Beautiful views of the canal/city and tonnes of natural light; front is east facing and back, including the spare room, is west facing (evening light). Close to a Lidl and Tesco. 15 min walk from subway. 20-25 min walk into city. Council band C. Internet paid for.

Highly affectionate Cat included - if you don't like cats, Flora will know and she get's a veto on your application. I'm serious about this. If you are allergic, identify more as a dog person or will ignore my cat whilst living with her then this isn't that flat for you.

The room

Spacious double bedroom with built in wardrobe. I have also added a bureau in case you need space for a desk. I'm pretty easy going about how you choose to make the room you're own re pictures, etc. Happy to shift around furniture to suit you.

About me

Into everything. Sometimes I'm down to hang out, sometimes I want to do my own thing. I love to cook. I love board games. Enjoy a chill movie night (I have Netflix and prime). I'm a gamer and I love a cheeky drink, as well as the odd gig. It's foraging season and you're welcome to join me if you like. TV Researcher/Freelancer.

What I'm looking for

I will always support folks having good days/bad days, and I'll give you space if you need it. However, I don't want to live with someone who stays in their room for 6 months or on the other extreme, wants my attention all the time. I'm looking for the Goldilocks flatmate. Sociable, up for doing things, down for a chat, but has their own things they like to do as well.

I would like someone who doesn't work from home. I wfh, and I've found in the past it can create an environment where you see too much of each other/hanging out less. My most solid connections have all been people I've lived with, and although I can't expect this every time, actually spending time with each other is the ideal.

Bonus points if you have a green thumb.
