Furnished double room in southside flat (G51)!!!

Double room for rent in two bed flat in southside, in between the Clyde Arc and Kinning Park subway. Sharing with yours truly (I am tidy, I am sane).

First and foremost, a video is available if you'd like it (I deleted it from the Ad because the first frame was blurry so it made the preview look rubbish). Pics were all taken today (1st Sept), I just took them on my big camera so they look proper noughties lol.

About the flat:
The flat is on the 2nd floor and in a prime location: Kinning Park subway under 10mins away, Finnieston 10mins walk over the river, tesco and the Old Toll Bar (elite boozer) 5 mins to the West. As well as obviously the SECC and hydro etc. City centre is only 20 mins walk if you're too cheap for the subway.

The flat has a mint living room with a TV and sofas etc, there's also a TV in the advertised room (both work!). Bedroom is north facing, living room south facing.

Rent is £547.50 PCM and council tax band is B, I'm about to start a master's so council tax will be nowt if you're also a student - if not I'll go halves with you and it'll be £53 each if you break it down monthly, which rounds rent up to £600.

2nd floor so bills aren't ridiculous, I'd say rent, council tax, bills and wifi can easily be kept under £650 pcm (Wifi is £30 a month so £15 each).

Kitchen has all the usuals; dryer, washing machine, fridge, freezer, oven, gas hobs etc etc. There's an airing room on the landing which is shared between this flat and next door, but plenty of space in the living room and even the bathroom to dry clothes (I have two airers).

As for the room... The bed is currently two single beds pushed together but I have quite literally the world's cushtiest memory foam mattress topper coming this week which solves that problem and turns it into a superking size bed. If you're fussed, I'm more than happy to swap the mattresses and you'd be left with a king size bed. Just let me know.

About me...
I'm Oscar, I'm 22 and I finished my undergrad at Glasgow Uni in July. Had a crack at the grad job rat race and failed utterly so I'm about to start an MRes back at Glasgow because I'm a cheap bastard and I caved to the reduced fees. I read Classics at undergrad and my MRes will also be in Classics, Roman empire innit. Besides the academics I'm big into my music and I've a pretty extensive CD and record collection (I also play bass guitar). I only get 9 picture slots on the advert so pre my profile for pics of me to verify I'm not a bozo.

I've no problem sharing with anybody really, so long as you're clean, tidy, sane and not a total bellend.
Of course, I'd like to share with somebody I can be mates with! I'm a fairly social person and I'd be keen to get out and explore your favourite spots in the city and show you mine, or just get to the pub. Spareroom can get pretty transactional, a good flatmate is more important than the rent they're paying so again no bozos allowed and please I beg have pictures on your profile/advert!!!

If you've a partner/girlfriend/boyfriend whatever I've got no problem with them staying in the flat a couple nights a week, but I'd probably like to check they're also sound before taking you on. Better safe than sorry.

As for the landlord, extremely sound bloke but he will reference check the life out of you. So make sure you either have the coin for rent or have the student loan and guarantor setup etc.
