Flatmate Wanted near Ibrox Subway Station

Hi everyone, I have just moved in to a gorgeous two bed flat in the Ibrox area, however my flatmate is moving out, so I’m looking for someone to take over the tenancy from the 4th November, with potential to move in earlier after some discussion.

The flat is a beautiful old tenement, well decorated and furnished, with a living room, kitchen and stylish bathroom. Yes, it is near to the Rangers stadium, but due to the flat being on the top floor the noise is minimal.

The cost of bills are as follows, per month:

Gas & Electricity: ~£98.28 (direct debit but variable)
WiFi: £23.50 (going up to £26.50 in April)
Council Tax: see below

Which is therefore about £60.89 per person per month.

A bit about me - I’m starting a PhD at Strathclyde in quantum technologies, so I will have student status. For council tax reasons I would therefore prefer to share with a mature or postgraduate student, however the room is still available to young professionals who are willing to pay the council tax (Band B with a 25% single occupant discount). Similarly, my preference would be to live with a woman, however if you don’t identify as a woman then still feel free to get in touch, as the personality of a future flatmate is far more important to me than gender!

I love swimming, going to the gym, gentle hikes in the highlands, and a cosy pub trip. I’m also keen on going to gigs and playing the trumpet in concert / jazz bands. I love to socialise but I also need time alone to recharge, for example reading, cooking and / or watching TV on a weekday evening.
