Hello! I’m moving out soon, and looking for someone to take over my room as a sublet for a few months with the option to officially join the lease in January/February.
The flat is a lovely 3-bedroom first-floor place on Bellwood Street, a really quiet and green street in Shawlands and only a 2 minute walk from Queen’s Park. The living room is a great size, bright, and looks out onto the trees along the street.
It’s a spacious double bedroom that currently fits a king-size bed, wardrobe and drawers with plenty of room. I’ll be taking my bed and bedside tables when I leave, but if I can arrange for a double bed frame to be left if you’d like.
The situation with the flat is one of the flatmates living here, Lilian, has bought a flat and will be moving out in Jan/Feb. Because of this, I'll be moving in with my girlfriend in early December to avoid looking for a place next year, so you'd be taking my room. We changed the lease around a month ago because a new flatmate joined our flat. We don't want to immediately change the lease again so for that reason, you'd be coming in as a sublet initially and then hopefully in Jan/Feb time when Lil (the other flatmate) moves into the place she bought, (if you wanted) you'd be able to sign a tenancy agreement.
The flat is very nice and spacious, and you’d be living with two friendly and chill professionals (1man, 1woman).
