2 bedroom flat to rent in Pollokshields Glasgow

Hi there

I'm looking to rent out my flat from end of September 2026 til the end of the year (2026) - so for 3 months approximately. The move out date (end of December) can be flexible and can be extended into January potentially.

I'm moving to London for this time so the entire flat is available which is 2 double bedrooms. This could be suitable for two separate renters / friends, or for a couple to take one bedroom and have a spare room. If a couple are interested in staying in just one of the bedrooms and having the flat to themselves, we can discuss a discount on the total rent.

Both bedrooms are furnished with a bed and wardrobe, plus chest of drawers / dressing table. They are spacious enough to fit some of your own belongings too. There is a 3rd room that I currently use as a study / hobbies room and has a piano! The living room is large with plenty of seating and a large TV.

The kitchen is large with an induction hob, microwave, nespresso machine. It is fully furnished with cutlery and crockery but this can be removed if you would prefer to use your own.

I have spent the last 5 years renovating my flat and I love it how it is. My main aim is to find people who will respect the space and my belongings that are in situ and keep the flat feeling homely and clean. I don't want people using the flat as a party flat!

Bills aren't included (gas and electricity). As a ballpark figure my bills for the winter months last year ranged from £140-£240/month and I think energy bills have increased a little in the last 12 months so I think you could expect to pay around around £200 /month in energy bills, split between two.

As an area Pollokshields is great. There’s free street parking outside although sometimes you need to do a lap of the block to find a space. The closest train station is Pollokshields East (5 min walk), just one stop into central station.
It’s a short walk to Nithsdale road and Strathbungo where there’s pubs, shops, a renowned gelato place, and a small Sainsbury’s. There's plenty of parks including Maxwell, Queens and Pollok. Pollokshields is a really inclusive and diverse area and just a few minutes walk down the road is a community sauna with plunge pool!
