Room to let in Gorbals

Hi! We’re two girls (22 & 23) from Poland and Scotland looking for a clean, considerate and sociable flatmate to join our cosy, friendly home. We’re not just looking for someone to fill a room, but someone who’d genuinely like to be part of the household and hopefully become a friend too.

A bit about us & the flat:
We both work in hospitality and are usually busy, but we really value our home being a calm, comfortable place to come back to. We’re a nice mix of social and independent – we enjoy spending time together (gym sessions, walks, cooking, watching TV, chatting, and the occasional night out), but we also fully respect each other’s personal space.

The flat itself is generally quiet. We’re definitely not a party flat, although we do like going out now and then. We’re looking for someone who fits that same vibe.

What we’re looking for:
- Someone clean, tidy, and respectful of shared spaces
- Willing to regularly contribute to chores, including bigger cleans, so the flat always feels like a home
- Someone who cleans up after themselves, especially in common areas
- Not someone who has people over all the time – friends and partners are of course totally fine, as long as it doesn’t feel like we’re living with extra people
- Ideally looking to stay long-term (at least 1 year)

- Aldi, B&M, Food Warehouse: 9-minute walk
Co-op and post office nearby

We’d love to do a viewing and a coffee date with potential flatmates so we can all get to know each other properly – likely during the last two weeks of January.

Just to be transparent: there is a possibility that the rent may increase slightly (around £10–£20), but this would need to be confirmed and discussed with the landlord.
