I’m looking for a new flatmate to move in ideally in May or June.
The flat is non-HMO, so the third bedroom has been converted into a shared office room, and the bedroom available to you is the larger one (around 20 m²). The kitchen is fully equipped with a gas cooker, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, and washing machine, and we also have access to a shared backyard.
The price-to-quality ratio is excellent:
• Rent: £1045/month total (£525.50 per person)
• Utilities: around £120/month total (~£60 pp)
• Council Tax: Band C
The flat is on the middle floor, which keeps it warm – we comfortably maintain 20–22°C without high heating bills. The location is great, only 3–4 minutes from Ibrox subway station. The landlord is private (no agency), which makes communication straightforward and responsive.
A bit about me:
I’m a 24-year-old man, working as a software engineer mostly from home. In my free time I enjoy music, dancing, and learning languages. I practise music during lunch breaks and some evenings (I play flute, oboe, and horn).
I’m friendly and always up for a chat, but I also appreciate a calm home environment. I don’t usually host many people – occasionally my boyfriend visits about once a week. I’m quite tidy and like to keep shared spaces clean and comfortable, so I’m hoping to find someone similar who treats the flat as a home.
Ideally looking for someone working or studying full-time who would like to stay long term.
