Bright Double room in Central Govanhill June–Sep

A big room in our cozy and bright flat is available for a long sublet. It's on the second floor in a tenement right next to Queen's Park. The room is available mid-May/early June to September (with flexibility to stay for the month of september as well if needed).

You'd be living with Pegg (They/Them), a freelancing dancer and performance artist working part-time in the RSPB. Pegg is social, respectful, kind and just a lovely person to live with. Queer-friendly vibes are a must.

The flat is right in the middle of Govanhill, which is a lovely area full of buzzing parks, nice pubs, bakeries, curry places, and young people and is a nice area to live and hang out in. It's dead easy to get into town from the train station which is nearby, or it is cyclable (10-20 mins depending on where in town you're headed). Rent payments will go through me so housing benefit would be fine. Lidl is within walking distance.

Rent is 600 + bills, council tax and wifi = roughly 700 per month (Council Tax band C) The room is huge so there's a lot of space and there's a desk right by the window. It's furnished and has a walk-in closet:)

Amenities-wise, we have a TV, a living room/dining space attached to a pretty big kitchen, a washing machine, and plenty of storage. Theres also a bath which is great. We have a gas hob and oven, which is nice for cooking:) We also have a microwave. And a huge, clean back garden where it's nice to sit on a sunny day.

It is a huge room with lots of windows and nice cornicing, and the bed is really comfy. There is also a walk-in closet. The building is calm. If you are interested, we are happy to organise a viewing :)
