Double room in vibrant south Glasgow

Large double bedroom, shared kitchen and bathroom, on the second floor of a classic blond sandstone corner tenement. 2 min walk from Queens Park, train station, and buses into central Glasgow on the corner of Pollokshaws and Regent Park Square. The area is full of bars, restaurants, bakeries, a gym and a range of supermarkets all within walking distance.

The living room is our work from home space during the day. The shared bathroom has a bath with built-in shower. There’s a washing machine, food processor, 3-seater café table and loads of light in the kitchen (no dishwasher). We have an IKEA trundle bed available for your bedroom- see image- would benefit from a better mattress! We also have a simple side table, lamp and clothes rack, but you might want to add some additional furniture/storage to make it your own.

We are a tidy, respectful, and easy-going mature couple (writer/artist and international policy professional). We travel for work often so you will have the flat to yourself a week or more a month, often there’s just one of us here. We value having a calm and friendly home—always happy to chat but also respectful of personal space. It’s not a party flat, we do have folks over on a regular basis to watch movies (we project on the wall) – you would be welcome to join!
