Description
Large double bedroom available in lovely 3 bedroom flat, situated right between the city centre and the west end of Glasgow.
Looking for someone to move at the start of July (exact date flexible). Rent is £700PCM, exclusive of bills and council tax (D) which are then split three ways. Deposit is £700 too.
You would be living with myself (live-in landlord) and my friend Ruairidh from university (we are 23 and 24): I (Jess) will be soon starting in a finance grad job. Big fan of loud electronic music and being in nature (ideally not at the same time), especially wild swimming or a good long leafy walk. I like collecting antiques and furniture, and cooking, watching, listening to, and enjoying things from all around the world. Ruairidh is a 24 year old professional working in an electrical engineering grad job. Ruairidh is very lovely, often busy bagpiping, running, skiing, cooking, or travelling!
Neither of us are huge party animals (any more…) but definitely still enjoy the odd night out, live music, and frequenting the pub, especially when there’s a quiz attached.
The flat is in a lovely Victorian tenement, and is about 1200sqft. I am in the process of buying the flat, and will be collecting the keys mid-June. It will be furnished and fitted.
There’s:
* One fairly sized bathroom with walk-in shower.
* South-facing kitchen with a dishwasher, washer/dryer, pantry, full size fridge-freezer, and a range cooker.
* Large living room.
* Your room: large, bright double bedroom with a desk, bed, drawers, and wardrobe. (I’m happy to remove any of that or source anything else within reason that someone might need)
Open to anyone, but for council tax and lifestyle purposes we’d prefer a non-student, non-smoker, and no pets. Looking for someone that’s clean and tidy, and sociable to an extent.
I’d also rather someone that doesn’t WFH entirely, hybrid is totally fine. Short-term would be okay, but ideally no less than 6 months. Couples would be okay too but there would be a 50% increase in rent.
If you think you could be our third musketeer then please just shoot me a message and tell me a bit about yourself and your situation! I’m happy to exchange socials to do a bit of mutual vetting, and arrange to meet up for a cuppa or a pint to see if we get along.
Any questions please just reach out xx
