Double room available in Battlefield, Southside

Looking for someone to replace my flatmate in a double bedroom in Battlefield. The bedroom will be unfurnished, but all other rooms are furnished. The room will be available from mid-July 2026 (exact date tbc)

The flat is on the top floor of a sandstone tenement, on a leafy cul-de-sac street in Battlefield, with many great shops, pubs, bakeries and Queens Park nearby. 2 minute walk away from bus stops into the city, and 7 minute walk from Mount Florida train station.

The bedroom is a good size, current tenant has plenty of room for a double bed, wardrobe and desk. The room is carpeted, and has a bright south-facing window.

The living room is the highlight of this flat, and is a really nice space to chill or be social in. The kitchen and bathroom are both pretty basic, but perfectly functional. The communal hallway is well-kept, and all the neighbours in the block are friendly and considerate. The tenement has a lovely garden, useful for drying laundry.

The other tenant (me!) is a 26 year old male Welsh student, going for my Masters in Engineering in September. I like to think that I am tidy and respectful of shared spaces, and pretty easy to live with. My interests are cycling, reading, and fishing, and pub quizzing ability would be looked at very favourably for a flatmate.

Another student would be ideal for council tax purposes, but this is not essential. Property is in council tax band B, meaning your share would be around £86 a month.

Other bills every month are electricity (~£25), gas (~£20) and broadband (£18). Prospective tenant will also have to be approved by the letting agent. Looking forward to hearing from you!
