Double Room Available in Dumbreck in a 2 Bed Flat

Hello potential new flatmate!

This room is a sizable double room measuring 3.4 x 3.2 meters, plenty of space for a double bed, wardrobe and desk as demonstrated in the pictures. It won't be furnished so you can decorate it as you like and I can help source furniture, I've found many pieces myself for cheap or free. We also share a large living room, dining room area and kitchen. The bathroom has a bath and shower with storage space as well.

I'm Kate, I have just graduated from the Glasgow School of Art with an MFA. I've lived in this flat since I moved to Glasgow in September of 2024 for school. I'm vegan, you don't have to be but veggie would be nice. The landlords are private and proactive about fixing things, only raised the rent once by £50 in November 2025, our total is £1150 pcm now. I have a slightly larger room so I pay the extra £50. The council band tax is D (it's a fancy neighborhood!) It's about a 12 minute walk to the Ibrox subway stop and a 5 minute walk to Dumbreck train stop. Easy cycling around the city with locked storage in the close for your bike if you've got one.

Most importantly I have four cats who are all twelve years old. Recently some of them have had some health problems that has affected their behavior with each other so at times they need to be separated to keep the peace. They are very friendly. It's just essential that you enjoy living with cats, not just tolerate it.

I'm a very clean flatmate and expect the same from anyone I live with. I'm also respectful of people's space and time. Quite friendly but usually use my room as an introverted quiet time space, personally.
