Double room in bright Gorbals flat

Double room available in a well-kept two-bed ground floor flat with a garden out front and a balcony in the Gorbals (G5). The flat has a mid-century, individually furnished feel throughout, with lino flooring, and is kept clean and comfortable.

The room itself is a good-sized double with a double bed, double wardrobe, chest of drawers, armchair and a small desk and chair, so there's proper space to work or relax without living out of a suitcase.

Rent is £750 per month, with all bills included except council tax (the flat is Band A, so this is low). I don't have a TV so there's no TV licence at present, but I'm open to discussing this if it's something you'd need.

I'm looking for a working professional, ideally someone who's out at work rather than home all day, as I also work from the flat at times and value having my own space during the day. Open to both long-term and short-term arrangements, so if you're in Glasgow for a fixed contract or project, that's absolutely fine.

I'm an artist and film maker and working currently in university admin but also with a background in film making and communications. I moved to Glasgow in 2021 and have been a Southsider ever since! I'm involved in the film community in Glasgow and on the board of a community cinema charity.

Good transport links into the city centre, with easy access to the Southside and beyond. There's parking round the back and if you drive - we're on main roads with very easy access to the motorway. If you cycle (like me) I have a big shed that I could accommodate another bicycle in.
