It is a 3 bedroom flat located within a converted villa, in a quiet residential location with off road parking and garden to the rear.

The property consists of a large fully fitted kitchen /dinning room, with dishwasher, washing machine and large American style fridge freezer. Living room and main bathroom with corner bath and power shower (which you have exclusive use of). Wifi and TV in your room.

It is a cosy double room, furnished with a very comfortable double bed, wardrobe, chest of drawers, bedside cabinet and flat screen TV. All bills and council tax are included.

I also live with two friendly but fickle cats! They'll be all over you like a rash one day, then completely ignore you the next. Generally they are no hassle as they get outdoors and come and go as they please!

I work in theatre, which requires me to work away, so you would have the place to yourself most of the time. When away, I ask that you feed the cats, administer their medication, clean litter trays and generally keep an eye on them. If this is not something you'd be comfortable with, this is not the place for you.

Overall I would consider myself easy going, but would expect any lodger to be tidy, considerate and respect that this is still my home even though I'm not there all the time. This is a queer/BLM friendly flat and it's essential you are to, I also try and do my bit for the environment and recycle everything I can and would expect any lodger to do the same.

Local amenities include Rutherglen train station (5min walk), 9 min journey to Argyle St/Glasgow Central Low Level. Regular buses leaving from the Main Street, routes 12 & 267. Route 18 from Stonelaw Road and Route 21 on Mill Street, all going to the city centre. (20min travel time) Good access to M74 & M8.

There is a CO-OP and Iceland on the main street along with a Boots and various banks and high street stores. There is a 24hr Asda nearby on Prospecthill Road, accessible by car or no 12 bus and a 24hr Tesco on Dalmarnock Road, accessible by car or no 18 bus.
