Looking to rent out a spacious double room in my modern flat near Merchant City.
I'm quite an easy going person and tend to get on with all almost everybody so I don't really have any preferences on the type of person I would like to share the flat with although I would be looking to get on with and become friends with the person rather than just renting the room out. I work Monday-Friday with weekends off, I play sports most midweek nights so would be out quite a bit. At the weekend I enjoy relaxing, reading, watching sports, meeting up with friends or going to music festivals. I also enjoy the occasional drink and night out but wouldn't really want the place to be a "party" flat but having friends and family over would be fine. I would consider myself quite a clean and tidy person not a clean freak or OCD but would expect the other person to be similar and tidy up after themselves.
The flat itself is really nice and in a great location as it is quite at night but walking distance from Merchant City, Queen Street Station and plenty of bars, shops and restaurants. Glasgow Green is also close by.
The furniture in the current photos are from the previous flat owner so it will have changed when someone moves in. The room will also be fully furnished for moving in. And as my room has an en-suite you would pretty much have the main bathroom to yourself. I have recently upgraded the bathroom suite and fitted a shower. All bills will be covered in the monthly cost and the flat will have broadband and all Sky TV channels, Netflix , Amazon Prime etc.. The deposit and a months rent in advance would need to be paid before moving in. There is also private, secured parking if you have a car although at this time a space cannot be guaranteed.
