Description
Hello, I am a 25 y/o lawyer, recently returned from Glasgow, who is looking for a flatmate from the beginning of March (or potentially slightly later).
My flatmate has decided to move out of my flat in Glasgow (to live with his partner) at the end of February/beginning of March time. We hadn’t been in the flat that long so I’d be very keen to try and find a replacement, even just for six months. If anyone is looking for a flat in Finnieston, it’d be great to hear from you.
The rent would be £475 a month (ie £950 between us).
*Flat*
It's a great modern flat in Finnieston, next to the Hydro and Exhibition Centre Station, only 20 mins walk to my work on Bothwell Street with easy access to the West End or City Centre (I usually walk to both in under 30 mins).
For those who don't know Finnieston, it's a very cool area with lots of bars and restaurants. We're 5 mins away from the main bit on Argyle Street with supermarkets, coffee shops etc.
Features include:
- Car parking space in a dedicated garage
- Good access to the Clydeside Expressway
- Bike rack (again in the garage with good options to cycle to the city centre)
- Basically your own bathroom. The bedroom I'm in has an ensuite, so I would never use your bathroom.
- Dishwasher
- Washing machine
- Good views of the city (the Squinty Bridge and Finnieston Crane)
- Double-glazing
- Next door to a gym
- Decently sized bedroom with double-bed
The address is 507 Stobcross Street, Glasgow if you would like to have a look at it (the flat is on the 7th floor). I really love the flat and genuinely don't have any issues at all.
*Me*
I'd be very happy to have a new friend or just a friendly flatmate. I like to think I'm shy, but friendly. I'm at work on weekdays, usually doing a couple of social things at the weekend. I've lived in flats in Edinburgh since I was 19, so I've known lots of different flatmates. I'm easy going on most things - will keep public areas tidy, and wash dishes straightaway. I can count on one hand the number of times I've had guests round to the flat since October/November.
Ideally, I'd like someone similar to me.. I'm always open for chats, but, of course, would never have a problem with you doing your own thing. Guests are welcome, and I certainly wouldn't mind the occasional party.
-----------------------
I’m very happy to answer any questions, give more details, let you have a look etc. Hope I haven't forgotten anything!
Thanks very much in advance :)
(Will follow up with more photos!)
