Furnished Room near Glasgow Green – £500pm

A furnished single room will be available from 16th February in my flat just by Trongate/Glasgow Green.

It's a great central spot with everything you need close by. You’ll be a few minutes walk from Merchant City’s cafes, bars, and shops, with easy access to supermarkets, gyms, and public transport (High Street station, Central station and St Enoch subway stop are nearby). Glasgow Green is right on the doorstep, perfect for walks and outdoor space.

The room and flat are fully furnished, including a washer-dryer, fridge-freezer, toaster etc. Rent is £500 per month plus around £100 for bills (electricity, WiFi). Long-term stays are preferred (minimum 6 months).

I'm 23, doing a PhD in chemistry with fairly regular hours (generally 9-5). I tend to go out once a week on weekends but mostly value having a chill place to relax after work during the week. Beyond music (I play guitar and collect vinyl), I'm into bouldering and weightlifting. I like fixing things rather than replacing them, whether that's sewing repairs or getting the toolkit out.

I'm looking for someone who's clean and tidy with shared spaces, keeping things respectful is important. Ideally someone who's up for being actual flatmates rather than just passing in the hallway, like someone interested in being friends and occasionally heading out for drinks, gigs, or exploring the city. A student would be great for council tax purposes. Music is my main hobby, so if you're into that too it'd be a bonus. Smokers and pets are welcome as long as cleanliness is maintained.
