I’m looking to share my apartment with one other person. I have a double bedroom available, and I only use the apartment for around 1–2 months of the year, for much of the time you would effectively have the apartment to yourself.

Bills will be split 50/50 each month, regardless of whether I am staying at the apartment during that month.

About me:

I’m Glenn, 31, and work as an engineer. I spend much of my time working around the world and, when I’m off work, I’m in Germany with my girlfriend or travelling elsewhere.

I’m an avid traveller and cyclist, and generally enjoy good conversation, meeting people and sharing experiences. I’d describe myself as thoughtful, straightforward and fairly easy going. I’m direct but fair, and I value open communication and mutual respect.

I’m also a host on Warmshowers, a global cycling community, where I occasionally host cyclists passing through. I enjoy the social side of having people around, although I would stop hosting cyclists while the apartment is being shared.

Who I’m looking for:

Ideally, someone who is:

Mature and emotionally well balanced
In secure employment or with a reliable income
Respectful of personal space and privacy
Clean and tidy
Considerate of shared spaces
Comfortable with a relaxed, friendly flat share rather than a purely transactional arrangement

I’m particularly interested in finding someone who is independent and comfortable with the fact that I may be away for extended periods.

Couples are welcome to enquire, rent and bills would be discussed separately depending on the arrangement.
