Available 10th September 2024 (longterm 12+ months). A double bedroom in a 2 bedroom home, will be sharing the home with just one tenant and a cat, located in the West End. £600pcm is the cost of rent. All bills such as gas & electric and high speed internet are included.
This is a queer owned flat and would be ideal for a student nearing graduation or an older student, who respects personal space and is conscious of flat hygiene as much as the tenant is, it’s not a party flat as it’s a family friendly neighbourhood, though dinner parties/ visits are expected.
The tenant who is sharing the flat is 27 (she/her) a PHD student, who is very clean, friendly and has been a joy to live with in the three years she’s been here. She is in the process of adopting a cat so there will be a new companion sharing the flat soon, she assures me she is taking full responsibility of all cat related needs and cleanliness.
I am the landlord and who you would be communicating with, the tenant will be showing the flat in person. Me and my family are available to help with flat issues so they get taken care of pretty quickly.

THE FLAT:
The bedroom is bright with a big window, a large built-in wardrobe with plenty of storage, bookshelves, a desk with good lighting (also colour changing), with a double bed.
The bedroom has been newly refurbished and improved for a more modern feel.
The flat is bright with large double glazed windows.
It has a spacious, open plan dining/kitchen/living room area overlooking the garden. With a new washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, electric hob and oven, fully equipped with all the cooking utensils and dishes you may need. The bathroom includes a bath, shower, a new toilet and sink. The Mediterranean art style and colours give a warm feel in winter. There are plants decorating the house. The house is newly refurbished. With all sorts of modern conveniences such as USB sockets next to the bed.
Many local amenities including restaurants, cafés, pubs, corner shops, Glasgow Clyde College, a gym, Gartnaval Hospital and Morrisons/ LIDL Supermarket are all between 3 to 10 minutes walk away. There are a few parks close by for stunning river/forest walks with cycle routes.
The bus stop is very close by and it's a 7 minute walk to Anniesland Train Station which takes you to Glasgow Central in about 10mins (The same train can also take you to Edinburgh in an hour). Or you can take a 5min walk to the bus stop which will get you to the city centre in 15mins.
