Description
THE FLAT:
It is a 3 bedroom flat with a nice big kitchen (with gas hob and a large oven), Large bath. Large communal living room space with nice sofas and a log burner. It's fully furnished and I mean fully, so really homely. Non-smoking.
Home Brewery and bread making happens. Recycling happens. The neighbours don't like too much noise, so someone not too noisy would be best, although we are definitely not grandpa types. Wee garden at the back. The kitchen has amazing views (the best in the whole of Glasgow!). The kitchen and bathroom was recently renovated. It has a large free standing bath with a waterfall tap, and a shower. If you have a car, there is on street parking outside the flat.
Double bedroom
Beautiful views across Glasgow! With a double bed. Double glazing windows. Lovely wooden floors and wardrobe and chest of drawers.
RENT / BILLS
Double bedroom £535.00/month which includes council tax, Electricity, gas, tv licence, and fibre optic superfast broadband.
NEIGHBOURHOOD
Kelvinbridge underground station is near by. Paesano Pizza and Inn Deep are close by (some might say too close by!) The Motorway M8 J17 is easily reached. The River Kelvin walkway is right next to the flat and a good route to jogging along. It’s also a short walk to Glasgow University, Byres road for the shops and the Botanic Gardens.
US:
Our third flatmate Abbie from New York has now finished her first part of her course at Glasgow and is off to Malta for her second part. It’s a chilled out flat, just looking for a good egg so not uptight on what age you are or what gender. Flat activities include movie nights, and some flat dinners now and again. An occasional dog sometime may visit. The two of us currently in the flat are... myself Paul, I’m and in my late 30s and work full time 9-5. I’m into wild swimming, hiking, island hopping, film making and football, and Roisin who’s works full time as an windfarm engineer from Dublin and in her late 20s and into gigs, going out, acting and wild swimiming.
YOU:
Lovely friendly, open minded folk would be best. Someone clean and tidy but not crazy obsessive. DIY enthusiasts and general good eggs welcome.
Communal cooking now and again and sharing of common some stuff , but we also all have our own space as well. No homophobes, transphobes, facists or uptight people allowed! Watering of communal plants desirable.
With the current covid restrictions I’m working from home 4 or 5 days a week. Seeking flatsmates with similar covid cleansing standards!
If you are interested then feel free to just drop me an msg with a bit about yourself or drop me any questions.
