I'm Zoe. I own the property and lived there until recently when I relocated to the Southside. The flat is a top-floor tenement with 2 double bedrooms, a kitchen, living room, and shared bathroom. Bedroom 2 is taken by Asayil, a geography student from Oman.
The neighbours are quiet and all relaxed, and there is super fast virgin broadband.
The kitchen was installed in 2021 - it has all Bosch appliances plus a washer-dryer. The fridge is very cold and genuinely keeps food fresher for longer.
The bathroom is the only room that was not included in the recent renovation. There’s a shower over the bath, and higher water pressure than I’ve ever come across in a tenement flat.
There are new doors, flooring, plastering, radiators and electrics throughout the flat. The flat is almost entirely smart-enabled, with the kitchen and hallway lights controlled by motion sensors.
The furniture in the images is included, but feel free to move things around or remove things. There’s a lot of storage in the form of an attic and a huge cupboard. .
The flat is in a fantastic location, there are a couple of coffee shops and restaurants nearby, and Partick train/subway station is a 10 minute walk away. Glasgow University is a 20 minute walk.
The location is particularly convenient for those with cars, as there's free, unrestricted parking to the sides and back of the building, and quick access to the Clydeside Expressway and Clyde Tunnel.
I generally stick to monthly rolling lodger contracts with a one months notice period on both ends, but weekly and fixed term can also be discussed. Students are preferred for council tax reasons. No smokers, pets, nor excessive drinkers. You may be asked for a guarantor and/or proof of income.
