Double Room to Rent from September 2024

Hi I’m Katie! I’m 22, I’ll be a mature student starting Zoology at Glasgow Uni in 2024, and I’m looking for a lovely flatmate to share my home : )

This is my second uni journey and I’ve already done first year halls and busy student flats. I’m looking for a flatmate who would appreciate living in a relaxed, organised home rather than a student party pad :)

Peace and quiet is important to me and I’m not much for wild parties! It would be lovely to share with someone who enjoys chill nights in with a movie, game or some tunes on. I’m definitely down to have a night out once in a while.

As well as science I love art and music, and you’ll usually find me drawing or painting, mucking about on my piano, or chatting with my friends. I like cooking too and spending time outdoors. The flat is right beside the Botanic Gardens and the River Kelvin Walkway so it’s perfect for that and means you’ll have a fab daily commute to uni!  

We’ve got one double bedroom to let out to a student. It will have a double bed, bedside table, desk and chair, chest of drawers and a built in, mirrored wardrobe. The price is £625 per calendar month. Bills are not included, this includes gas, electricity and broadband.

Upfront, the flat is in a quiet, residential block and I definitely need a considerate flatmate who’ll treat it, and the neighbours, with respect. I’m not looking for the tidiest person on the planet but it’ll be important for everyone to take their turn with cleaning and tidying common areas and to keep their own space clean and hygienic :)
