Hello! I have a double room with en-suite bathroom available in my flat from February 1st.
The flat is located in Glasgow Harbour on the River Clyde, there are two double rooms (both en-suite so you will have your private bathroom) and a balcony. The flat is on the 7th floor and the living room has a full window so you can enjoy the view on the River Clyde.
There is a lift, free parking space in the street and a concierge service.
The flat is 8 minutes walking from Partick Subway and train station, and 15 mins walking to Byres Road. Supermarkets, pubs and the library are a few minutes walk. There is also a petrol station across the road if you drive, and easy access to the motorway.
The room has a double bed, mattress, wardrobe and desk with an Ethernet port for high speed internet if required. The living room and balcony are shared, there is a 50” tv with Netflix, 1GB Hyperoptic is included. The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, fridge, freezer, kettle, oven, toaster etc, there is also a washing machine and a dish washer.
The minimum let is 3 months and both long and short term will be considered. The room may suit a student looking for a clean and safe place, within walking distance from Glasgow Uni, or a PhD student looking for a calm space to focus on research. Glasgow Harbour also offers easy access to Queen Elizabeth Hospital for any medical student/staff. However anyone is welcome.
I’m looking for someone who enjoys a peaceful environment and is friendly and polite.
The area is lovely, there is a nice walk along the river and you can jog or exercise outside. The closest pub is The Thornwood, only 5mins away.
I’m an easy going person and work at a nearby university and enjoy going out socialising on weekends and going to the gym during the week. My girlfriend has recently completed a post grad and is currently living with me.
The rent is £800 per month, short term lets are welcome. The deposit is £500 and it will be refunded when you leave the flat if there are no major issues (smaller deposit for shorter stays can be discussed). All Utility bills included.
