Hi, I am Richard. This is my lovely flat on Queen Margaret Drive, near botanic gardens [just across from Darios pizza]. I have advertised this as live-in landlord, as it is classed as my main residence, however I am now a full time carer for my mother in Cambuslang, and I have to stay there almost all of the time. I let out the 2 larger bedrooms to lodgers, and keeping one bedroom free for myself, for when I need to stay on the odd occasion [this will be very rare, so the 2 lodgers will have full use of the house normally].
The properly has real wood oak flooring and gas central heating throughout, so the flat is very warm & cosy.
The bedrooms are well furnished. One bedroom is presently available from 16 Dec 2024. The other bedroom is occupied by one male professional.
The lounge is huge, having been converted previously from 2 rooms, many years ago. Black leather settee/black electric recliner, and additional settee/lazyboy. Lovely black sideboard with 52" TV. Very comfortable.
The available [second] bedroom is large, with large floor-ceiling Ikea wardrobe, double divan bed, desk and large TV.
The kitchen is galley-style, and fully equipped with dishwasher, fridge, freezer, microwave, toaster, kettle, and lots of worktop space.
The bathroom is fitted with a large shower cubicle, with multi-function shower.
Overall, the flat is a very comfortable home.
Landlord will pay council tax, factor's bills and broadband, but tenants will be responsible for energy bills [depends on energy used].
I'm happy with any age of tenants, however I will meet all prospective tenants first, of course.
