Double Room For Rent In Woodlands

hello! this listing is mainly for folk who need somewhere to stay short term (up to 3 months).

Fringe goers/performers especially welcome! The 4 bus goes straight to GC station.

The flat is ground floor with 3 steps up to the flat*, the shared spaces are a large kitchen, full bathroom (toilet, walk in shower, separate bath) and living room.

The room is the larger double bedroom, with two wardrobes and under bed/shelf storage space.

- short term: £350/week; £60/day
- long term: £800/month (references req)
- Council tax: band C,
- bills: roughly £80/month in summer.

We're a 5-10 minute walk from Kelvinbridge/George's Cross subway or a 10 minute drive to Glasgow Central/Queen Street, and less than a minute from Kelvingrove Park if you fancy some greenery. Glasgow university is also only 5 minutes away; there are plenty of West End restaurants/pubs/cafs right on the doorstep; the bus stop is right by the flat and takes you straight to the main stations and southside (plenty more great places to eat/read/party).

I've lived here for two+ years & it's still my home & I have a cat who would be staying sometimes too. I work from home so will be in the space most of time; I would be happy to cook/eat/hang out together but I also do enjoy my space so it's all good either way.

*to enter the building, but the rest of the flat is accessible in a standard wheelchair, with a walk in shower. the floors are tiled apart from the living room which is wooden boards and bedrooms are carpet.

Long term: I would need proof of work/references for the tenancy; council tax would be your responsibility (I am exempt); due to my health stuff the flat needs to be fully veggie. that's all the admin,
