Bright double bedroom located in spacious end of terrace house in Kelvindale - available from August/September. You will be sharing the house with one other (professional male, 28) and a friendly spaniel (see photos). Would suit a professional or MA/PhD student looking for a quiet and cosy home for up to a year.

The room has a view over the garden and is very quiet. It comes furnished with a double bed (Simba mattress and bedding included) plus a desk, chair, drawers, sofa, mirror and clothes rail. There is also a large built-in cupboard with shelves for extra storage space. The room is well insulated, with double glazed windows and a newly installed radiator.

Shared areas include a bathroom (upstairs), a toilet, living room and kitchen (downstairs) and the garden with decking. Facilities include dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. If you have a bike, there is a shed in the garden with storage space. All bills (including wifi and council tax) are included.

The house uses solar panels to produce electricity (this covers all of its usage during summer and some during winter). Hot water and heating is provided through an air-source heat pump.

Parking is available on the street (no permit required). The nearest train station is Kelvindale (five minutes' walk) - other stations include Anniesland (15 minutes' walk) and Hyndland (20 minutes). The M4 bus to Partick via Hyndland and Byres Road passes a stop at the end of the road once per hour. More frequent bus services are available at Great Western Road (10 minutes' walk) where you can pick up the 6/6a to the city centre/West End.
